Carl Grimes is a fictional character from the TV Show The Walking Dead, portrayed by Chandler Riggs.
He first appears in the series premiere, "Days Gone Bye" as the son of Rick and Lori Grimes. Initially a vulnerable and sheltered child, Carl grows up in the post-apocalyptic world and becomes increasingly hardened and capable.
